Initial Assessment

Ladybug Tutors starts every relationship with an assessment of the current skills and knowledge base of every prospective student.

You, the student and, you, the parent, are also assessing Ladybug Tutors to ensure a good fit.

The tutor has several questions that must be answered during these 2 hours -

  • What are the student's gaps in learning?

  • What is motivating the student to do better?

  • Does the chemistry between us work?

At the end of the introductory one-hour sessions, the tutor will provide you, the parent, with a written assessment of your child's gaps in learning and ability, and a set of recommendations.

Ongoing Feedback

At the end of each session, Ladybug Tutors will provide written feedback on what we covered and the student's progress.  This assessment will be provided in writing by email.
